I feel like a dummy because I know little about tools/working on cars. I'm going to have a friend help me but I want to make sure I bring the correct tools and not assume he has them.
I may have gone in over my head but I bought PT954-35240 and PT938-35240
Do I need to buy a 1/2 and 3/8 socket set and 1/2 and 3/8 Torque wrench?
Do these sets include 3/8” Drive Short extension or is that separate?
Same with 1/2” Deep Well Socket, is this separate?
Same with T-30 Torx Driver is this separate?
Same with 6" Extension
Anything I'm missing?
As you see I'm just lost on what I need and I'll probably be buying stuff on Amazon I don't need so if someone could point me in the right direction I would be forever grateful.
One final thing, I see conflicting information about needing or not needing to drill holes for a drain tube for the cover. Is that required? On my old tacoma I had a soft cover that didn't have any drain tubes so this is new to me.
Sorry for the silly questions! Hoping this will be a great learning experience so I feel more comfortable working on cars and have the tools needed!
