Possible headroom fix?

I found this post on another forum for the 3g tacoma and was thinking it might work for the 4g... I hope.

This would be a game changer for me personally. Just curious if anybody has done something similar to a 4g.

I feel like you'd have to be pretty tall to need this in the 4th Gen. I guess some people could use the space. I can verify that the headliner around the sunroof is velcroed in place. I would worry about the integrity of the headliner at that point, but if you were careful the same is probably possible.

The headliner is very stiff. I don't think removing foam will raise it up.

Unfortunately it's different underneath. There's a hard plastic piece instead of the foam like in the 3rd gen. Pretty annoying. I'm 6'5" and barely fit. I noticed that as the day goes on I fit a little better, lol. I bought the tacoma later in the day so I didn't notice the headroom as much.
