I have a 2025 SR5 with 265/70 Wildpeak AT4W's on it. At 800 miles I don't have any chips on it yet but I plan on putting some +25 SSW wheels on it soon which will give the tires a little poke.

Does anyone know what mudflaps I could install on my truck to prevent the chips? My truck has the OEM tube steps, is that enough to protect from chips or do I need actual rails.

I have some good chips on my black Pro. I think that it's the stance and offset of the pro rims. Did the sliders help? I ordered the cali raised with kick outs thinking the sane thing, help with rocks hitting the fender. My F350 is black and has Duratracs on it the last 140k miles and no chips. This truck has chips under 1500
I had some 11 mil PPF put on back there - fender flares are taking a beating but paint is safe under that super thick PPF

They did. Haven’t noticed any new chips since.

I like the looks of the RCI 5 degree. This is the first that I've heard of them. I already ordered mine but I would have really considered those over the Cali Raised step
They look about the same. Both are plenty stout! I had 1 bolt hole that didn’t line up, it was off by about 1/4 inch. 10 minute fix with a step bit. Not sure which one? But another manufacturer had similar problems but most of the holes didn’t line up? I’m sure they have em fixed by now?

I also have the RCI 5 degree with the tread and I like them a lot.

The sliders combined with the Canadian mud flaps have cut down on stuff being thrown on the side of my truck. They also make a step for shorter passengers and protect you from creeps in parking lots dinging your doors.

Im going to fit them as raw metal before I take to shop for sandblast and powder. Hopefully no issues but I understand small things like that do happen.

I didnt think about the door ding protection. I'm going to get the frame powder coated cockpit red then have LineX spray the filler plates. I wanted the step edition / style to help little ones climb in back as well. Dirty truck from gravel roads is hard on school clothes at 7am.

Im going to wait on upgrading tires until I get the sliders installed. Not sure how the Toyo AT3 are with throwing rocks but I'm sure it worse than the factory tires
