first time buyer here. Does anyone have any thoughts (apart from aesthetics) on a heavily optioned 2024 TRD Sport v. 2024 Limited. I am wondering how much I would be giving up with the Sport, including missing the full time awd feature on the limited hybrid. I do not care about the chrome accents on the limited. Many thanks!
I had the same dilemma for a non-hybrid Sport vs Limited, and went for the Limited. Both were similarly equipped, and similarly priced (the Sport had the most extensive Premium package, both had the 18 inch TRD wheels, and there were some additional accessories on both).

The reasons I went for the Limited were:
- Much nicer interior - it has the faux wood on the dashboard, and the door areas and the middle console are nicely padded and stitched where the Sport has hard plastic. It may be a small change, but to me it just looks and feels a class higher than the Sport
- Heads up display (I got used to it in my other car, and use it heavily; it even projects driving direction arrows on the windshield when you use Apple maps :))
- Adaptive dampers, which give you the additional "Comfort" setting that has quite a bit smoother ride on paved roads
- Automatic running boards
- Sequential front turning signals
- All LED lights

My feeling was that (since they both were priced very similarly) I would be trading all of the above for a fake hood scoop, which I did not really care about. Moreover, the non-hybrid Sport and Limited Tacomas have basically the same off-road capabilities (2WD - 4WD Hi - 4WD Lo). Since mine has the black 18 inch TRD wheels and the blackout package, I can live with the chrome on just the front mask, the mirrors and the door handles (chrome wheels would have been a showstopper).

I think those are all things you can replace once the aftermarket parts are available. The grill should be available now, actually.

Limited is an attempt to get the boomers into a Tacoma. I like em, but not buying one. I did hear they come with New Balance sneakers and Jorts....so.... :p

I worked out a deal to replace the NB with Brooks and added compression stockings with the air pump inflation option. Rumor has it a defibrillatior option will be offered next year to take advantage of the hybrid battery.

Why stop there?

Hearing Aid Booster: Plug your hearing aids directly into the truck's audio system for crystal-clear sound, ensuring you never miss a single beep from the parking sensors.

Nostalgia Radio: Pre-programmed with classic hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Includes an 8-track player just for old times' sake.

Extra Large Print Navigation: Because squinting at a tiny screen is so last decade, our navigation system features extra-large text and icons, making it easier than ever to find your way.

On-Demand Lawn Chair: Using the truck's power outlets, this feature inflates a comfortable lawn chair in seconds, perfect for those impromptu rest stops or tailgate parties.

Voice-Activated Thermos: Keeps your coffee hot or your iced tea cold. Just tell it your preference, and it will maintain the perfect temperature all day long.

Golden Years Reminder System: A friendly reminder to take your meds, call the grandkids, or schedule that doctor's appointment, all synced with your hybrid’s infotainment system.

I used to be a Brooks man, but now it’s Mizunos all day, err’day. Gotta buy a new pair in Bronze Oxide or whatever interior color them THs come in, though… and I'll take a built-in AED if it’s free.

Switch those out for cargo shorts and a pair of doc martens and you got a deal.

I own the limited. It’s awesome however… ensure you get the longer bed. The new long was the same as my old normal. So I lost 12” not paying attention when I ordered. Oh well it is quiet and smooth. I’m not a small guy and I have room again. I get better has mileage on full range cruise because I can’t get enough of the turbo! lol! You will love it!
