Hello, I dod not live near a dealership and I am wanting to take the ARB roof rock off of my Trailhunter. Has anyone done it themselves? Anything I should know, or do you have any references? I have the screws and equipment, but I cant find any tutorials online. Thanks!

It's just mounted to the bed rails with simple bolts. Three bolts each on the "arms" that extend back towards the bed. 6 bolts each on the front arms. The front arms are bolted into the corner brackets.

Once the bar is removed, you'll have to remove the four mounting plates from the bed rails; one on each side and two on in the front rail.

There's caps on both ends of all rails that you'll need to pop out. Then, loosen or remove the bolts holding the bed rails to the bed so you can tilt the rails enough to remove the mounting plates.

All in all, it's a simple exercise. The sport bar isn't very heavy and it's all easy enough for one person to do by themselves.

Sure thing. One small callout - the corner brackets are not welded to nor otherwise adhered to the arms. So, it's probably advisable to remove the bolts holding the brackets to the arms before the ones holding the brackets to the bed rails directly.

Also, those bolts seem to strip fairly easily, so take your time. I stripped at least three of them while installing my sport bar.

I removed the roof rack. It is very simple. You would need a second person to help you remove that.

You just fill in the existing holes with screws when done?

I saw a post somewhere on here that shows the kit that you can order from Toyota to put it back the way it was factory with the seals. I would just search the form and you should be able to find it.

There are metal inserts in the track that accept the screws. Just slide them out when done. If you sell it you will need to supply them and they would rattle around if you leave them. You do need to loosen the track at the back right and left to remove the inserts. The rear track has to be removed (and replaced after pulling out the inserts)..

Just take a look closely. It's pretty obvious.
