Just a note. The Toyota App Update seems to be more about Toyota’s liability regarding lawsuit then any feature change in the app.
The Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA), and individual State laws, prohibit tracking. Tesla recently offered insurance that apparently is priced based on how and when you drive.
