TRD Pro Allocations

Just be aware that if you are shopping out of your region that dealers usually won't sell you a vehicle. I tried to purchase a truck twice out of region and been shut down both times.

I saw that after my research here, but I figure it can’t hurt to ask. The dealership in PA said they had a five deposits on the same vehicle.

At this point, it’s just become a game lol. I will likely wait for my allocation locally. I am not in a rush. Just wish I knew I was definitely getting it.

Would it be of any benefit for me to join another allocation list locally? I did contact another local dealer, but they told me the same way as the first dealership I already have

Since different TRD Pro's get allocated to different dealers, I think that it would be valuable to get on the list with whichever the biggest dealer is in each state within your region. I would contact one dealer per state. Here is the Toyota region map in case you don't know it:

I guess that puts RI in the NY region?! Very weird! I did not realize this…. I did put my name in at what I believe to be the biggest Toyota dealer in the state - however this is my first Toyota and I have no true way to gauge this other than their reputation and how freakin large their lots are.

I believe that Balise Toyota of Warwick is the largest dealer in RI.
Scratch that. I just took a look at there customer service ratings and they are terrible.
It appears that Valenti Toyota in Westerly, RI has a great customer rating.

they are the second dealer I contacted this weekend and they said they only have one allocation right now and it’s not for a pro.

They were still willing to put me on a preference list but gave the same timeframe as the other dealer (Nucar Toyota North Kingstown) where my preference was already placed in January. Nucar has a trailhunter coming which I thought was more rare than the TRD. First in the state.

Guess it can’t hurt contacting the sales manager at Balise and sitting down to talk

i feel ya bruh, i'm #11 and so far my dealer has only received 3 Pro allocations. Last week I stopped by the dealer to sit in and get a feel for one of the ORP models, really cant wait now!
