Western US Dealers with TRD Pro allocations currently available @ MSRP

Groove Toyota, bait and switching for many months it seems. Such a horrible practice. Dealers should be required to mark vehicles as sale pending or sold, if they are. It seems the reputable ons do that.

At least they are a MSRP dealer though ands ame with Kalispell Toyota. I have a Black on Black TRD Pro that should be to the dealer at the end of next week, and am just not in love with the color. Underground was always my first choice. First world problems...

Since you've been on the list since April '24, have they given you any indication as to where you are in line?

not far up enough in line for sure! I've been in the same boat, originally wanted an Underground but also put in for a Black/Black backup as i'd be happy with either color and I think they both look great! I was #37 total to put in deposit and I'm told I'm #11 out of those that is waiting for a TRD Pro specifically.

+1 to this...I have had my deposit in at Groove since last April and consistently tax my sales team about TRD Pro allocations. After finding that other thread with the googledoc spreadsheet a few days ago I immediately reached out to see about the Underground Pro showing "Available" there. I was advised that both TRD Pro allocations that Groove has received were long before spoken for and reserved so I do think the dealers may just be leaving them as "available" to draw in attention perhaps.

also quick edit. Groove is an MSRP dealer and i have it in writing for anyone else in the Colorado area looking. Mountain States Toyota is also another area MSRP dealer.

Sorry man! Why do most of the dealers and salespeople have to fall into the stereotype? The guy I spoke with made it seem like there were only a few people on the list and I would for sure get my allocation in the next 8 weeks...

I spoke to the Billings, MT dealer yesterday and the Ice Cap one they have, has been spoken for by the owners kid from the beginning. They claimed they couldn't update the Sales Pending or Sold on their own website and it was something Toyota controlled...

I spoke to the Billings, MT dealer yesterday and the Ice Cap one they have, has been spoken for by the owners kid from the beginning. They claimed they couldn't update the Sales Pending or Sold on their own website and it was something Toyota controlled...

Them too?! Damn, maybe this isn't worth the effort? This is how I got my Pro, as well as someone I worked with. My understanding was if the dealer was using Smartpath then the info was reliable.

I know that as soon as we put deposits down the toyota.com site had them marked as "pending sale" within 6 hours.

I will remove the Billings listing.

Well, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I just called Stapp Interstate Toyota in CO and both of theirs are sold as well. They said they "can't" mark them as sold until they are finished being built and on the ship. At that point, they will mark them as sold on their website. I also enquired about getting on a wait list and he said they are telling customers it is about a 12 month wait...

For the heck of it, I also called Dave Wilson's Las Vegas Toyota and the Ice Cap TRD Pro is already allocated. You have to click through the listing to see that it is allocated. Also, which is very interesting, they won't take reservations. If you want the vehicle, you have to buy it full stop. You have to agree to the price now, sign a PO and put down a non-refundable deposit. They do have an Ice Cap Trailhunter available, but they won't remove any PIO's AND you have to buy it with all the lovely dealer installed options. They won't take them off...

Thank you for letting us know. They don't mark them as "sold" but as "pending sale." About 90% of the Pro's listed are pending sale.

Yup, bummer but it is what it is i guess. I'm just pumped i'm "almost" through the CO winter with my STi having been running my summer tires/wheels rather than invest in new blizzaks right before I may be getting into the 4Runner. All we can do is hope they get more allocations and the folks in front of me decide to pass either due to pricing or timing etc and wait for you to post pics of yours when you pick it up.

I was able to secure with a downpayment on the Ice Cap TrailHunter in Las Vegas, because of your post. I previously put a downpayment on an Ice Cap TRD ORP, due end of this month, beginning of next. Now I have to decide which? I originally planned on the TrailHunter but was told by several dealers that they would not become available till mid summer. I prefer the look of the ORP interior more, but like all the mechanical upgrades on the TH. I'm not a fan of the Mineral interior color.

Interesting that AZ is on the West Coast .
I think we bought our current (2010) 4Runner from AutoNation in Tempe.

I have a non-refundable deposit here on the Mudbath allocation showing. Really looking forward to it! Doing a solid road trip to go pick it up, my sister lives in Tempe so I can make a family visit out of it.

Salesman says he's confident he will have enough notice to know what day it will arrive so I can start the drive. Says he'll hold it for I believe 48-72 hours so I should be solid. Just hope everything works out and the car is at the dealership for me when I get there. It doesn't say "Sale Pending" on Toyota Inventory, it has been around 15 or so hours since securing.

I put a deposit on an allocated trailhunter last week and within 5 minutes of them charging my card the deposit the Toyota inventory page and the dealerships page was marked as sale pending and they don't show up as a smartpath dealer. It was not on there when I started my inquiry.
