There's a wheel/tire shop right next to the shop that did the powder coating. They got them. They look OEM as they were identical to the OEM lug nuts that came off but I can't say for certain what kind/brand they are.Which black lug nuts did you get and from where?
This allows you to do the oil changes east right?I installed the TRD skid plate, replacing the felt dust cover from the factory. Also removed the front air dam.![]()
You have to remove it to do the oil change. It's only 6 bolts and not too heavy so easy to do. Other models like the one I had on my Tacoma had a hatch where you didn't need to remove the skid, but this one does not have that. This allows you to do the oil changes east right?
Thats wild!! Good they are taking care of it though. My TRD Pro is in the body shop getting the hood repainted for severe scratches and clear coat clouding. The hood scoop also has a dent in it, which is being replaced. It came that way all the way from Japan and Kalispell Toyota is paying for it all.
Also, some a$$hole hit the rear left corner of the bumper in a parking lot and scratched the paint all the way down to the plastic. So, that's getting fixed as well to the tune of $700. Fun fun!
Thanks! Here are some pics... I didn't grab one of the leading edge of the hood, but you can see the scratches and clear coat damage.Thats wild!! Good they are taking care of it though.
It's crazy Toyota's so called "Quality Control" allowed this to get all the way to the customer. Must have been painted after a Sake lunch. Thanks! Here are some pics... I didn't grab one of the leading edge of the hood, but you can see the scratches and clear coat damage.

From the dealer, part number PT413-89250Looks awesome! Where did you get the emblem? I have been wanting to do the same thing on mine.
But it severely affects the approach angle, its gotta go!I think that "chin strap" air dam would help to limit snow/salt/mud etc. from getting up underneath your vehicle but I certainly understand that many people find the aesthetics very unappealing.
I remembered seeing an issue with Tacoma, mud causing issues.
