I really like those renderings and the styling of the latest generation of the GX/ Next gen Land Cruiser.

I currently have a 2015 4Runner Trail and Rivian R1T. We don't need a new car. I could keep the 4Runner for ever, but the gas mileage is not great and would love to have the latest tech in terms of CarPlay and safety features - it's mostly driven by my wife now who after years of driving her Prius has taken to the utility of the 4Runner for the feeling of safety and utility for picking up gardening and horse /pet supplies.

I keep thinking about the final Toyota Gas vehicle I want to own for the back half of my life knowing our other cars will be electric. The updated Tacomas, new 4Runner and new GX/Prado based Land Cruiser coming out tomorrow are all the candidates I think about. I think all 3 are going to be worth the investment in one last ICE utility vehicle/truck to buy and enjoy for very long time. The Trailhunter is the current lead candidate, but I won't be buying anything until the Land Cruiser and 4Runner are out anyway. It will come down to whether we want an ICE truck or SUV. But I'm getting more and more encouraged looking at these images and the hope we will get a new generation of 4Runner.
