My first winter here but I have been told it is an unusually dry winter so far.

Man you guys kind of got dumped on! Meanwhile in Minnesota we've only had a few inches each snowfall and most has melted.

While here in central Virginia we have had snow on the ground for almost a month now!
It’s all backwards this year lol. Hopefully everyone is staying safe there! The common joke here is as soon as the first snowfall hits, everyone forgets how to drive.

I grew up in the lake effect snow band in Ohio, where it only took one snow to remind people how to drive on it. Here in Virginia we have drivers who have never driven on snow before and it is a demolition derby when it does happen.

I am good with the snow, but I try to stay off the roads because drivers around here have no clue. All wheel /4wd just makes it worse, because people think they invincible. Experienced snow drivers know that 4 driven wheels just lets you get to a higher speed before you crash. :)

Speaking the truth! I learned when I was young that there are limits in AWD when I put my Audi in the ditch when messing around. It just takes caution and giving yourself more time that you'd think, and it can be pretty fun!
