So what are all these aftermarket side steps for? For me it's getting in & out of the truck. So how come none of these manufactures show a simple video of a guy getting in & out of a truck after install??
Without an A pillar grab handle my stock predator steps are a joke, getting in not so bad, getting out I know I am going to destroy the left side seat bolster.
Gonna wait for the AMP Research steps for my 24' Taco to be released... Some day :)

Almost a year in and we are loving our RC power steps. Wife loves them. I do not use them but she does and loves them.

Looked at all of these manufacturers, (3) so far. So far nothing for the hybrid trucks, or at least none of them say they are specifically for the iMax system. This is my first Hybrid vehicle from what I have read adding aftermarket stuff such as power steps can really mess with the computer, like throwing a CEL... Grooooaning :p

People may mock my Go Rhino D6 Running Boards but they're hard to beat for functionality. Definitely not meant to be rock sliders but for getting in and out of the truck and standing on to wash the top and whatnot they are great. No one is ever going to door ding me either!

They're a universal fit product with mounting brackets for the Taco and in reviews the main beef seems to be the install process but I installed them easily by myself in about 30 minutes on each side, no drilling or cutting involved. I've had them almost a year now with no rust or sign of wear at all. Go Rhino makes effectively the same board in narrower widths for those for which the 6 inches is just too much.

A lot of people are putting these on not for easier cab access, but for protecting the rockers and flared out bedside. It’s been widely documented that unprotected trucks are getting chewed up.

Totally agree! Even with a +35 offset wheel and stock mudguards I have no real paint chips after 17,000 miles.

Yup, LT285/70 R17 KO3's on Method MR705 wheels. Those pictures were taken early in the life of the truck. It's continued to undergo continuous mods since then....

Yah, that was at my friend's home down in Sisters. It's a couple of months old but that's the most current photo that shows the exterior mods but I've done a few more things since then (EKR seat covers most recently).

I think I'm pretty much done with everything I wanted to do, but.....

I've got some vinyl laying around and have been thinking about putting a black mask on the hood just for fun. I intend on doing the OTT tune the next time I head to Oregon. Outside that, think I'm done for now. Famous last words. I should probably buy a gmrs radio too. Who knows what else???

I've just now had the truck for a year and have it on my task list to write up a post with likes/dislikes and a full build sheet (assuming I can remember everything I've done.....).

I see you have a winch also. What was your lift? How much did you loose with the extra weight front and rear?

LOL. That's an involved question. I'd rather not hijack this thread since it's a completely different topic. Here are two threads to read, the bumper/winch thread, and the overall spring/suspension thread.

TLDR version though, Westcott spacer on the front only, no appreciable sag caused by the bumper/winch (also have aluminum skid plates all the way back...).
