So 1958 is “mid$50,000” so given the GX price structure… first edition we’re looking at like $67,000ish? Plus of course dealer gouging?

What I wonder is where does this leave the 4Runner?

No, if the base 1958 is in the mid 50s, then the standard Land Cruiser will likely be in the mid 60s. The top tier First Edition (which is limited to 5,000 units) will likely be decently higher than both.

$10k between base and mid level seems awfully wide. with the 2024 Lexus GX mid-level "premium+" estimated to be $65k I'd be hard pressed to go for land cruiser vs a GX Premium+

This new LC pricing will sure be interesting on how it compares to the GX. The new GX is standard without the rear locker, and is non-hybrid, but comes with the larger turbo V6. If someone wants a Toyota/ Lexus with a rear locker, and hybrid engine with a load of torque, the new Toyota LC will be the lower price point. If a buyer doesn't care about the rear locker or the hybrid, then the GX might actually be less money.

4Runner debut is fall 2024.
How does it fit in this line up though? Seems that the 4Runner and the new land cruiser occupy similar spaces

From what I heard the LC is an inch or two longer and a couple inches wider than the 4Runner and will have standard rear locker.
