"Man! What an upgrade the Suma Performance mirrors... Not only are they the simplest mod to install, but they are easily the most useful and beneficial one to date. These mirrors are exactly what should have come OEM. They eliminate the terrible blind spot.... [it] has in between where the BLIS system and the OEM mirror loses sight of the car next to you. You can see the whole world with these mirrors!" Tyler K.

If you set your 3 mirrors correctly, there is NO blind spot. Why do people set their side view mirrors to see the side of their vehicle; it's always there, so you don't need to see it!

@Tacanta14 great comment! Some prefer to see the side of their car because of bikers. Plus it's a cool mod for the taco with the turn signal feature . These are popular with 2nd/3d GenTacos.

I have never seen a biker riding close enough to the side of someone's vehicle to touch it with their elbow, but I get your point! And even without convex mirrors, which I do like, there is still no blind spot.

While this is partially true I've experienced a sweet spot on this truck for a blind spot, my side mirrors are set correctly but I went to go change lanes the other day and damn near 💩 my pants. Nothing in my mirror, blind spot monitoring was not lighting up, but there he was.

That being said turning my head on a crack allowed me to see him but a quick check could've been bad for me. I haven't experienced that in a long while, probably why I got such a fright. My Camry's BSM lit up the second the cars bumper was there, seems like these Tacoma's are no where near as sensitive

If you sit in the drivers seat with the seat belt buckled, lean over and put your head on the drivers side window and set your mirror, then lean over to the passenger side and set your mirror, and set your rear mirror a little more towards the passenger side of the rear window, you shouldn't have a blind spot, and leaning forward a little when checking your mirrors before changing lanes assure that there is no blind spot!

that’s why I’ll tell everyone that my favorite feature on my 24 is the MTM. There are absolutely a couple pretty bad blind spots. If I’m concerned someone may be in my blind spot I’ll activate the camera system so that I can see that area.

True enough, wish my MT had those as standard. I definitely could've gotten a few uses from them already

it’s really the only reason I wanted the premium and could justify the extra money to myself, well that and I had a decent bit of positive equity in my trade so it lessened the pain. It is really nice though.

Does the Suma mirrors also have the Blind spot warning indicators that the OEM mirrors have?
