Well, this is interesting. Wish I'd seen this before I got the RCI cross bar and the OR plastic skid plate. Would have saved about $40 and got more protection. Oh well.
I also have the Sport 4WD but with the OEM Michelin Primacy LTX tires. Interested to see how they will do in Midwest winters. I had a Versa FWD with normal tires and had no trouble so 4WD should be even better.
Doubt it. Even if there was a dipstick now, what would it tell you? Color would be OK, level would be OK. The current trans issues appear to be caused machining residue in the trans. Doubtful that you'd see that on the stick.
The danger of overfilling is foaming of the oil caused by the crankshaft whipping up the oil. I think you would see that on the dipstick if it was happening or notice foam under the filler cap.

I have the screens that show when turbo is used and MPG. I have no use for the other screens that show the chassis angles. Occasionally I'll switch to the fluids/temp/battery screen to check things out. TPMS, I just check on the app. Much easier than cycling through all the menus on the dash.
I have a 2024 Sport and a Moto G 2024 phone. I can get AA to connect to the truck, maybe 10% of the time, if that. I am using a 4K cord from the phone plugged into the side of the screen. For Nav, most of the time I have to use my phone screen, and hang it from the dash. Phone connects to...
I took off the felt plate on my Sport and put on an Off Road composite ( part # 51410-AK020 ) along with the RCI crossmember. Had it on for about two weeks. Without going back under the truck to investigate, I wonder if the felt plate could be incorporated into a mid, second, shield, with the...
