I was under the truck doing my first oil change today and couldn’t locate any bump stops.

I have also noticed when going over longer style speed bumps the truck will bottom out very easily.

VERY aggressive thud

The front bump stops are now integral to the shock. This is new for ‘24, so that’s correct, there are no frame mounted bump stops in the 4th gen.

Edit:
I should clarify, my experience is with the Off Road model.

Shucks. It’s not a pleasant feeling when hitting them. Hopefully aftermarket will have a solution

I should clarify, my experience is with the Off Road suspension. However I’m guessing it would be similar across trims.

Yup, have to drive slower than in my RAV4 over bumps, kinda funny. I'll also be looking for a solution at some point.

I will add that the same stretch of rough road in my Tacoma feels considerably smoother at speed than my RAV4, that's due to the soft suspension.

I actually really like the Off-road suspension, I find it quite soft and that it absorbs bumps quite well. I haven’t hit anything hard enough to bottom it out yet though.

The suspension is fine. I actually really like the ride. Way better than my ‘21 TRD-OR. Just wish there was more cushion bottoming out

I like the ride better than my ‘22 TRD OR also… except when I hit hard bumps or just dips… “CLUNK” that you feel in the steering wheel - feels like worn out steering rack bushings.
