I'm glad I found this thread! Based on the instructions I thought the mounting clips went through the slot on the adapter rails! I've been fighting this for a week now! Hopefully this will fix all of my issues.

I just ran a test with the OBD2. It shows a fault on the backup sensors.

Looks like I joined the club today! Less than 3 weeks old and under 500 miles. Everything was fine when I left home this morning and after leaving my 1st stop. When leaving my 2nd stop I put it in reverse and the display went black and I got the system malfunction message. I put it back in park...
