I'm going to rant before I answer your questions. Does nobody do any research anymore? Or do they strictly come to places and ask questions in hopes that someone answers them before they have to actually look for the answers?

There are numerous threads here and on TW about people removing them. I haven't yet, just been too lazy, but I agree. They look crooked, but they're aligned with the body line.
I'd imagine if you know what the wires do/go to yea, you can reuse them. However, I'd be worried more about if the power/impedance matches what I'm replacing the factory speakers with.
You have to buy a cross member if you want to utilize the majority of the OE/aftermarket skid plates.

I would definitely be interested in this. My OEM replacement was $1000, so I'd be afraid to see what one of these would cost - if they even made them for the 4th Gen yet.
This Tacoma is the 2nd vehicle I've had with the Autohold feature, both are enabled the same way. I don't foresee any type of software update for this as it's more than likely a safety feature.
