There are numerous threads here and on TW about people removing them. I haven't yet, just been too lazy, but I agree. They look crooked, but they're aligned with the body line.

I'd imagine if you know what the wires do/go to yea, you can reuse them. However, I'd be worried more about if the power/impedance matches what I'm replacing the factory speakers with.

Yep that's right. You can actually use the OE skidplates as yours is right now, you just won't have to two front mounting points however.

You have to buy a cross member if you want to utilize the majority of the OE/aftermarket skid plates. Not sure if anybody else makes one, but this is the one I've seen most around here. https://rcimetalworks.com/product/front-skidplate-mounting-crossmember-24-present-tacoma/

You'll have to look at the specs to make sure, but mine has the Offroad package and has heated seats/heated steering wheel. Didn't pay extra for them.

The mid level upgrade package (which it sounds like OP is talking about) only comes with heated seats. The cooled seats come with the premium package.

Where can you check for wrecked parts specific for a '24? Could use a bumper if I could find one.

I would definitely be interested in this. My OEM replacement was $1000, so I'd be afraid to see what one of these would cost - if they even made them for the 4th Gen yet.

This Tacoma is the 2nd vehicle I've had with the Autohold feature, both are enabled the same way. I don't foresee any type of software update for this as it's more than likely a safety feature.

It has directional clips that kinda slide off towards the windshield. Pretty easy to take off.
