New member...put money down for a TACO

Hello everyone, I'm from St. Louis and today I just put $1000 down on an order for a new Taco!

I've ordered the following configuration:

-2024 TRD Offroad
-Hybrid iForce Max engine
-TRD Offroad upgrade package
-14" display
-Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism
-Bronze Oxide color

My dealer said it'll be a 3-6 month wait, so hopefully, in the meantime, I'll learn more about my new truck here until it arrives! Thanks for having me

My dealer said that they can do additional add-ons later, like heated seats, paint protection film, etc.

I would not wait to add heated seats that should be included in the upgrade package if not you should get the premium package. It has heated and cooled seats.

The mid level upgrade package (which it sounds like OP is talking about) only comes with heated seats. The cooled seats come with the premium package.

my understanding is that the midlevel package (the off road package) is just heated steering wheel not heated seats. My dealer said that they can be installed afterwards so the base truck comes in quicker.

You'll have to look at the specs to make sure, but mine has the Offroad package and has heated seats/heated steering wheel. Didn't pay extra for them.

Maybe so. I know when I got my truck a couple months ago, I went online and found multiple dealers they had the truck exactly how I wanted it and without extra stuff that I did not want, coming in within a week or two.

Ya I think if you get the Off road upgrade package you get the heated seats... Basically if your steering wheel gets heat your seat does too... Unless they changed something since I bought... Ya 3-6 months maybe 2025 territory... Same truck with kinks worked out
