I did on my previous Taco from time to time–I'm not a fan of doing it in the dead of winter, so I fall off the wagon once in a while. You need to find a place you trust.

And that's assuming the wiring harness is already in your truck. Unfortunately, I don't think it's doable.
So.... If I recall, I bought my compressor off of Ebay years ago. It came with the stock wiring harness. I see they are $100. A bit stiff. It's just 10 ga (?) wires going to the battery and into a relay switch and then the switch circuit goes to the relay.

The compressor is wired to the battery, and I used an aux switch to turn it on.
I noticed my compressor gained some slop. The rear screw had loosened, so I recommend using blue Loctite when you put it all together.
How'd the ABS print come out?
Right, but only the Pro has those seats. There's a tad bit more room in the rear than in the last gens with the SRs, Sports, SR5s, and ORs. If you want rear seat space, midsize trucks will not work. You can't have it all.
