Approaching 1,000 miles on my TH without a hiccup! (yes, I know that is not a lot lol. Watching due to the QC holds) Hope it remains that way.
Excited for you all. I've never been this in love with, well.. anything!
The pro is almost just as much set out of the box. There’s a lot of crap on the AEV I find personally useless, while the Toyota has both the off-road aftermarket add ons as well as some really cool tech
I vote the Pro
This is correct. There is “stop/start” and it can’t be turned off, but it’s not what people typically see on non hybrid turbo trucks like the base ford ranger.
It’s part of the hybrid system and works absolutely flawlessly. Turning it off would defeat the purpose.
I value the 2400w inverter, power, slight increase in mpg, and elimination of turbo lag over the underseat storage. That’s not to mention the otherbme
very happy with my decision so far. The thing movessss when I want it to, and can coast at great mpg when I want it to.
1. So… you don’t actually have any idea what the number is and you said it’s a lot anyway? Kinda odd
2. there haven’t been more then a dozen. Feel free to link them. There’s actual sourcing below from Toyota on the topic. But anyway… assuming it is a dozen, are you saying a dozen out of 70k is...
I have them on my TH.
didn’t originally want them, but I don’t mind them now. They are slightly misaligned, so if that bothers you you may want to rethink.
I also heard they essentially mallet it the to the door so it made me worry about damage, but mine look fine.
I took mine to a pretty high class shop and they said I didn’t even need paint correction on my underground.
I’m very surprised considering some of the paint issues we’ve seen. I’m even more surprised to see this on a multiple stage paint like WCP.
I’m sure this wasn’t the issue, but you aren’t supposed to be using cruise control or holding Rpms on the highway that earlier into the engine lifecycle.
glad you are getting it taken care of though!
