I can see the filter on my engine but have to remove the skid plate to change it. It does not look as small as the one I bought. Are there different sizes? I haven't changed oil in a long time on a vehicle. I never messed with the cartiridge in previous Tacomas i owned.
Going to do mine at 5000 intervals. At 3000 now but ready...that oil filter looks really small. Not sure it is the correct one...Costco has 6 qts of mobile 1 for 36.
I like that! How much of the bed does it intrude into? I like the rolling type covers. Can you post a picture of the cover rolled back to see how much it sticks out or does it go all the way into the box? Thank you!
I like the all weather style tat come up on the sides etc. They look like the OEM mat material which is a rubber. I thought they were hard to clean. I want the type that you just shake out, hit them with a hose and they are good. I had the OEM mating brfore and you had to really scrub them...
I tested tanks on ECO and Normal and they were the same with Normal being slightly better MPG for my driving at almost 20. I tried sports but gave up because I kept forgetting to put it into sports mode when I started it. But for me I can tell it definitely hold the gear and revs higher before...
If you are going to keep your truck for 4+ years maybe. Connected remote services is 89 per year after the first year is complimentary & you get more than just remote start.
Truth is even if it was not rated for the reliability of the V6, I would still go with it for the 8 speed transmission which is so much smoother than the 6 speed. BUT, this is from a guy not looking to go over 100k miles on my 2024 off road. I will probably have a 4 runner by then...
If you have connected service which you probably do it should work. All presses must be done quickly like within a few seconds. Don't be slow on the trigger!
The 3rd gen has adaptive cruise as well, but no lane tracing. I think it makes for a great driving experience in the 4th Gen! Also I do not believe the 3rd gen's is as responsive.
If it is the connector for the actuator, it is not watertight...you can see it if you look down in the center of the grill shutter there is an opening because the actuator is in the center. About 6 inches down you can see the top of the connector with the wires going down into it. I got a long...
Cannot tell a lie, the 3rd gen has a better high mounted rear bed light that is was probably the only LED light on the 3rd gen! The 4th gen is pretty weak!
