Yeah, I saw that too.. I have the crash pads still in place and the ARK flaps mounted. One of the flap bolts attaches to the pad. I left them in place. I do rub on the flap in reverse.. not really enough for me to worry about. I don’t think it would rub at all on the pad only without the flap...
I installed the Ark mudflaps on my Trailhunter and seem to do a good job at covering the tires. Haven’t had a chance to do any serious off roading yet but they are certainly much better than the stock ones
I see - yeah the flap is hiding about an inch? It looks good though and any fling should get caught by the new flaps - are you experiencing rock chips up in front of the rear fender / on the rear fender
When was your truck manufactured? Mine was built 8/10. My dealer just told me that it will come through San Diego or Texas and still 7-8 weeks away from being delivered.
Did you have to say you "worked for a dealer" or did you just tell them you were a customer trying to track down your truck?
I'm trying to do this for the Port of Portland but not getting any luck.
Well like all of you i thought i was never getting my truck, its been at new ark since 8/30.
After constantly calling my dealer for updates and getting the same "it should be here soon, ill keep you posted" answer, i decided to take matters into my own hands and i researched who and how toyota...
I have full size ARK mud flaps and still get rock chips there 😡 I’m hoping rock sliders will stop this? They shipped and will be here early next week, also will be applying Xpel PPF after I get the touch up painting done.
...on non crossmember Tacoma. I have removed the “snow plow” and will be ordering a crossmember and I am shopping front bumpers and skid plates. The ark full size mudguards can take serious abuse and showed no sign of being ripped off from driving in thick brush and tall growth. Very cool...
I just installed the micros. The rear passenger holes aren’t cut out right so only three bolts would fit. Waiting on response from ARK. The other three went in fine so I know it’s not me.
I honestly don’t like them very much and don’t like how they fasten overall. Fit and finish isn’t great (qc...
I got a couple rock chips there too. The stock mudflaps are useless. I have rock sliders with top plate on the way but it's been like 3 months lead time! I plan to put some PPF there and get some bigger mud flaps. Waiting for Rekgen ones because ARK full size is HUGE and Rokblok is a bit expensive.
