I would love that part number as well. If I can't find a trade for a black one by spring, I'm going to order one. Your dealer could probably help. Go on their site and get a VIN from a sport and they should be able to pull up the part number and order for you.
If I recall, this was asked of Sheldon Brown. He said it was deliberate so it had some give if it got a knee offroading or something like that. I would also imagine that it would reduce stress on the plastic when offroading as well. If I had a pavement princess, I might consider printing up a...
I can't believe the dealer is giving you a hard time on that one. I'd try another or call Toyota. It's clearly not supposed to behave that way. Most of these service techs haven't seen enough of these yet to know how they're "supposed" to act. They get paid for the warranty work. They...
Looks like a money grab. I wonder if he even has a 24 Tacoma. Saw the YouTube videos, did some googling and had an ambulance chaser attorney file a lawsuit hoping for a settlement. edit.. Just read the article and apparently he does own a Tacoma. His Trans hasn't failed, just shifts poorly...
No, there aren't. Pre Covid it was perfectly normal to have many cars on the lots. You know why the manufacturers are making 4 door 5' bed trucks? Because that's what people buy. Do you think they're all just clueless? You can still do truck stuff without that extra 12" in the bed. I'm...
We all have stupid little dealbreakers. Mine for Chevy was front parking sensors :). I wasn't going back to an 8" screen so the Frontier was out. I wasn't getting another Ford after they were refusing to recall my 21 F150 valves because they were sure that most that had the issue had already...
I did the things listed above and also turned on the feature that opens all my windows if I hold unlock on my fob. I got an email saying they had more features available, so I'm going to check it out again.
Yes, if someone could post the signal wiring, that would be great. I have them installed and used a fuse tap in the box near the wiper fluid that only runs on accessory. I haven't hooked up the signal wires yet because I haven't had time to explore which wire controls the signal.
Same here. Did close to 2K a few weeks ago going back and forth to Maine. Plus the time I spent in the North Woods driving back roads and offroading looking for Moose. It's in the back of your mind, but I'm not going to alter my driving in any way. 11K on mine, shifts like butter. If it...
There is a way. It's in the screens. It's called ACC Customize I think. You have to turn it off, or maybe on... I can't remember but do the opposite of what it is. Mine stays on now.
Love mine too. I got the NY top version because the OEM wasn’t available back then. If I hadn’t done that, I would’ve already crushed my exhaust at least three or four times.
Yeah, I saw those and thought they looked better. Also cheaper. I haven't hooked in the signal lights yet. Not entirely sold on that, but will probably do it in the next few days. I can always unhook them again I suppose.
I'm coming up on 11k and do not have any rust under my hood. I have been offroad, splashed mud, etc... and everything's fine. Take it back, though I'm not sure they'll do anything about it. Probably a poorly painted part.
Hello everyone. Finally got my Trailhunter grill in from Toyota. Took about six weeks to get everything. I printed the camera bracket posted here and ordered the light bar brackets from TacoGarage. A little unnerving, but in the end worth it. For now I wired the DRL lights using a fuse tap...
