Exactly. It looks for bluetooth from your phone which obviously isn't there if you remote start. Bluetooth is what kickstarts Carplay.

Just took delivery of my OR Premium, I think the stereo sounds ok. It won't win any awards, mind you but played a couple bass heavy tracks and seemed to hold its own. I may change my mind when I get in on the highway and have to turn it up lol.
