  1. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

all good man, they weren’t necessary. I only used them because of the increase in caster they offer. Helps keep the truck tracking straight after lifting the front end. Also, the only compatibility issues I’ve encountered with the Hybrid vs non-hybrid is shock tuning, spring rate and wheel...
  2. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

Also, this is the main reason I went with a King setup through Accutune. The kings were more "tunable" and Accutune custom-tunes the shocks and selects the appropriate coil over spring specifically for the weight they'll be supporting. I had the same issue with other brands and I did not want to...
  3. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

I am still running the stock rear springs since my goal was better ride quality and to level the truck. I have not had a need to replace the rear springs because they're already a higher spring rate than non-hybrid models. Even with the new Diamond Back HD bed cover (roughly 200#) installed and...
  4. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

Finished installing the suspension components last week. What a difference!!! No more bottoming out and rides so much better! I did the alignment myself in my garage with an angle finger and tape measure after installing everything and drove it for about a week while waiting on my appointment...
  5. HVAC whistling sound

I didn’t even think to check it with A/C. I bought the truck and shortly after it got cold. I’m still tinkering on it occasionally, if I figure out a non-invasive solution, I’ll let you know.
  6. HVAC whistling sound

Mine has done this from day one. It’s a little annoying but I couldn’t imagine having my dash removed and introducing even more potential issues and definitely not trying to return the truck under lemon law over such a frivolous nuisance. I just reminded myself that it’s a midsize truck and not...
  7. 3 "Misses" on 2024 Tacoma -- Suspension Travel, Front Swaybar Disconnect, No Front Locker (review by real off-road enthusiast)

It works extremely well. Front lockers are only useful for hardcore rock crawling these days.
  8. Inverter on the 2024 Tacoma

I use mine to power my entire camper for hours at a time while traveling when I stop at rest stops or parking lots for quick breaks. The engine starts and runs occasionally during the the time I’m using it but it doesn’t constantly run like other non-hybrid vehicles. It’s actually really cool.
  9. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

I considered Tundra springs but my goal was a softer ride off-road. I think these icon springs would be perfect for a non-hybrid truck.
  10. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

Bit of an update… Installed the Icon Triple rate springs and lost 3/4 of an inch in height… Scratched my head for a bit and then realized just how stupid I was. These springs are for a 2024 Tacoma TRD Off-road WITHOUT the iForce max option. Icon’s website doesn’t list an iForce option so...
  11. Sway Bar Disconnect - Is it possible to add this on later?

I bought the premium package because I knew I’d kick myself in the ass later if I didn’t. Just bummed I couldn’t get the disconnect. However, I took my sway bar off completely on my last truck and had forgotten about it until I went to sell it and even the guy that bought it didn’t notice it was...
  12. Sway Bar Disconnect - Is it possible to add this on later?

That doesn’t seem right at all. Where did you get this info?
  13. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

    Awesome, thank you sir!
  14. 2024 TRD Off-road iForce Max Build

Starting to receive parts for the suspension upgrades! Ordered: Icon UCAs- Arrived Icon triple rate rear springs- Arrived Kind front struts King rear shocks All ordered from Accutune last Wednesday. Springs and UCAs arrived today via fedex. I’m assuming the shocks will take longer since...
  15. ReadyLift 1.5" leveling kit for 2024 4th gen Tacoma now available

I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume none of you are towing or hauling anything with your trucks. Because if I were to level my TRD Off-road, I’d be staring at the sky when I tow my little (4,000#) camper or haul my dirt bikes in the bed. The rear springs seem very weak, it squats...
