    Can't Drive 2024 Trailhunter Past 75 mph

You read my mind. I had this experience with a 1976 f100 that is in really great shape. The truck would start vibrating in the front end at highway speeds so I had the wheels/tires balanced twice with no luck. Someone suggested rebuilding the u-joints and having the driveshaft balanced and the...

    Cleaning cloth seats - Tips

Folex is an excellent product for removing stains. Iā€™ve been using it on cars for years. You can find it a home despot and many other stores. Just follow the instructions. You can also use a carpet cleaner to deep clean the seats. Use the manufacturers recommended soaps and make sure you rinse well.

    Why 35 PSI

I own a repair shop and we service a mix of American and Asian vehicles. After years of trying to make everyone look at door jams to look up tire pressure we standardized to 35psi unless the vehicle or customer required something significantly different. Some European cars will use much higher...

New Taco and Dealer Review (SF Bay Area)

Congratulations! I purchased my trd off road from seaside Toyota and had a great experience back in March but then got the itch to switch things up a bit. My truck was white and had the 14ā€ screen but didnā€™t have all the cameras or the ventilated seats. Also really like the hood scoop on the...

    Check Engine Light/FP-Sensor

141 miles later and the check engine light is on again. I think itā€™s the same code which was for the cylinder 1 fuel injector. So back to the dealer. I also noticed that the cowling at the base of the windshield is warping. I was my truck myself every week and hadnā€™t noticed this until today...

    Check Engine Light/FP-Sensor

Correction: it wasnā€™t the fuel pressure regulator it was the fuel pressure sensor. @2002 miles the check engine light as well as several malfunction warnings that popped up on the screen. The truck ran fine. I took it to the dealer and it turns out that it needs a new fuel pressure regulator...

Oil change / oil filter part number for nonhybrid i-Force

90915-YZZN1 is the correct filter. Itā€™s listed in the parts catalogue and was a match to the one that was already on the truck.

    Missing Flex speaker?

Does your Tacoma have the cavity on the dash where the speaker is supposed to sit? If so then the truck came with one. My dealer pointed out that some had been stolen from vehicles on the lot.

What engine oil and oil filter? Oil change intervals?

I ended up using the Toyota 90915-YZZN1 filter and 0w20. Itā€™s a very easy oil change. I posted on another forum that youā€™ll need to remove two small panels, and a total of 8 12mm bolts to access the filter and the drain plug.

    Truck sneezing when off.

I hear it within 20 minutes or so after parking. I thought it was the parking brake readjusting.

    Should I buy a Tacoma?

Looking at the long term ownership prospective and the trade aspect, yes it costs more to become an owner of a Tacoma vs most other comparable trucks; but here is where you get it back. Used car values are not set by dealers or banks, they are set by the consumer. The consumers dictate used car...

What engine oil and oil filter? Oil change intervals?

Iā€™m new to this forum and new to trucks. I just purchased my ā€˜24 Tacoma and am looking for information on what oil filter and oil to use. I did search with no results. I know Toyota recommends changing the oil every 10,000 miles, I intend on changing it every 5,000 or every 6 months whichever...
