I was trying to use their velco attachments to help hold the sill pieces in place but its just not sticky enough. May need to get some indrustrial strength velco to solve the issue. Hoping that by keeping the door closed it will help mold it to stay put.
Installed... Fit is decent. Seems to be some warping that I hope settles in. The sides that run along the sill are not at all straight and just look like it was not stitched together well. The velcro clips do not stick to the trim at all and any time i open the door they come off. I have...
The two outer lights come on with DRL turned on but the Lasfit do not turn on at all unless I turn it to parking lights or turn on the headlights, or of course when I signal. Is this how they are supposed to function? I am using the switchbacks
Can you design a cover for the rear cup holders? My dog stands on the center console and I have been trying to find a way to fill in the cup holders in back. Flat top that plugs into the holder bits to make it a snug fit. I have a printer, just no time to learn how to design something.
If you like that style you can always go with some Ark Splash Guards. I order a pair but have not put them on. They are just too big for my liking.

I think if I dialed in how tight it was I can get it to work both ways. I am still breaking in the seal for it though so I haven't adjusted it since first install. I may play around with it in a few days to see if I can get it just right. It has gotten better though!
I went with a Diamondback SE just in case there was an issue. I can at least open the cover and then open the tailgate. I am still waiting for the seal to get broken in on it. I can currently close it with the cover closed but I still need to assist the tailgate when it opens. At least it lets...
This is the most frustrating feature on the new tacoma. I usually have to attempt the remote start process at least 5 times before I finally get it started.
They fit the same! The shims just prevent the rails from getting crushed under the clamping pressure. I think they would probably buckle in the middle and raise the ends without them.
I just installed mine this afternoon and used both. The bulkhead bar is whats going to provide the water tight seal on the cab side. It was super easy to install. The shims were also easy, just be patient and get everything prepped before you start taking any sticky backings off. When removing...
