lol! The dealership told me Iād receive total consciousness.
Now instead of buyerās remorse you are making me have non-buyerās envy on the skid plate and exhaust. Mustā¦ resistā¦ 4th.. order.
š . I just talked myself out of the black exhaust tip, a wireless trailer camera, and a TRD skid plate (now cheaper than the RCI off-road one I have on order ).
š - yeah the explaining part is gonna be the real challenge. Maybe I should swing by and pick up all my stuff on the way home with my truck. āIt came with all thisā.

I plan to remove the chin spoiler and replace the felt skid plate with a better steel / aluminum one. Wanted to mitigate the noise issue mentioned at the link(s)
So far Iāve ordered:
Trifold hard tonneau: PT954-35240
Bed mat: PT318-35240-02
TRD air filter : PTR03-35240
Hole Plugs for TRD Sport: 90950-A1021
I almost ordered the cargo divider (PT767-35240) but I donāt think it will work well with the tonneau and bed mat per other threads.
Yeah the 20% is all Toyota nationwide. For me in NC, Fred Anderson is the cheapest price to start with, before the 20% off. So when you stack the two discounts itās really cheap. But yeah, Iām doing local pickup not shipping
They will ship but not sure about a tonneau. I added a tonneau, cargo divider, and mat to my cart and it said I wasnāt eligible for shipping. I removed the tonneau and it quoted a shipping price.
looks like the sales run until the 8th.
Sorry if this has been posted or if there is a better spot, but Looks like OEM parts are 20% off from the dealers today. At least in NC area. Check out Fred Anderson Toyota for what appears to be the best pricing to start with. I saved a bunch on tonneau, bed mat, etc.
I wanted to post my ordering story (er..saga) so that folks can learn from my (in)experience. Before I go long-winded:
Executive summary:
- If you put a deposit in, make sure there is a real truck behind it. I got burned on a $1000 deposit for what I thought was a truck in build, but was...
No problem! Thanks to you for doing a lot of the early legwork on solving this issue. Hope they have them! Can't wait to see your truck complete. That will help me decide if I go the same route.
I put a deposit in a few weeks ago on a TRD Sport Premium, and am waiting 3-4 weeks for it to arrive. At my local area dealerships (a few of the biggest in the Southeast), they finally have options on the lot to look at (usually 5-7), whereas before, they only had one demo unit that would last...
