Yes it did. It arrived last Thursday and they started the repair on Monday. It took them a day and a half to repair it. I picked it up yesterday and so far so good but time will tell.
I was wondering the same. The part is supposed to arrive today and the Truck should be fixed sometime next week. My concern on fixing it is will the Tech be able to fix it without messing something else up. The dealership told me they have never done this before which gives me cause for concern.

Yep. Same here. My truck is on the dealers lot waiting for the part to arrive. They're going to have to drop the dashboard as well. If ANYTHING is wrong after reassembly I'm going to Toyota directly to see if I can get a replacement.
Yep. Same thing happened with my 2024 Tacoma Sport. It's currently in the shop awaiting for the part to arrive. The dealer told me this will most likely be a recall in the near future.
