I ended up buying a moorflate 4-tire system which works well. It takes around 7 minutes to take all four stock tires from 18psi to 33psi.

How can you tell that? Is it combined with another button/function?

Exact same reasons for me choosing 5' bed. Also, at 6'4" a 6' bed would still not allow me to sleep straight in it with a topper.

Someone please correct me if incorrect. Surge brakes are mechanically operated with the braking system being entirely contained within/on the trailer. Operating when back pressure is placed on the hitch as a result of the towing vehicle slowing down.
