I was debating getting the AT4W 285/70/18 in C Load but the weight of 68 lbs is making me second guess. Found this Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent that weighs 53 lbs in 275/70/18 and 56 lbs in the 295/70/18, both are E load but heard they are quiet and smooth ride. Might just go with the 295 for 3...
@VermontTaco @Lets_Taco_Bout_It can I ask what your MPG was before/after the KO3. I am currently averaging 17 MPG and worried about dropping below 15 MPG with the extra weight on the KO3.
Do you notice any significant changes with the handling going from 40 pound tires to 60? Any regrets? This is my preferred tires as well but worried bout MPG
Yea weight makes a huge difference on MPG. AT4W in 265/70/18 comes in SL 50lbs or E load 57 lbs. Might go with the SL for my TH as I will only be off-roading few times a year.
Thanks to you guys, I've decided to go with 275/70/18 for my next set of tires for my black TH. Now the only question remaining is KO3 or AT4W. Also if I do go with the KO3 will the white lettering be too much.
$911 for 6 months so about $151/mo for $500 deductible for collision and comprehensive with 100k/300k/100k. Progressive in California. Like $30 more than my 2018 honda accord sport
Sounds like you want a Ford Maverick. But on a serious note, you pay for what you get. I have the Trailhunter which came out to 70k out the door but I 100% love this truck.
Have a Trailhunter with 5 ft bed. First tank average MPG was 14.7. Drive in Normal mode but slow acceleration and always try to minimize braking. After I filled up and reset the Trip Odo, now getting around 18.5 MPG. Hopefully it keeps climbing but I doubt it.. haha. Making me reconsider getting...
I have the 5ft bed because I didn’t have a choice but hindsight I am glad. The turning radius already sucks with the 5 ft. Can only imagine the 6 ft bed. Also with the 5 ft it barely fits my driveway with enough room to walk behind. 6 ft bed would be up against the garage and still sticking a...
They didn’t tell me directly but I think they are either waiting for part or manpower to fix the snorkel cover issue. Mine had the little circle divot meaning they fixed it. I called Toyota Brand Engagement hotline and complained to them and next couple days my truck was shipped out lol. Maybe...
I get it.. I almost did the same and bought a Ranger Raptor on the lot while waiting for my Trailhunter for months. Main thing that stopped me was that Ford wanted over MSRP and Toyota was selling me at MSRP. I got really impatient but the toyota gods have answered and delivered my Trailhunter...
Paid $3495 for a 10yr/100k platinum plan with $0 deductible in CA for the Trailhunter which is a hybrid. Looking at this post looks like I overpaid. On the fence about canceling but am worried about this being a hybrid and a 1st year model/powertrain.
