10,000 miles and still going strong. None of the issues others complain about.

I reserved the allocation in January at a Michigan (horrible) state dealership. Truck was built on March 6, loaded onto a rail car on Mrach 7 and moved to Chicago yard before transport to the dealer by semi. Arrived mid-April when I picked the truck up.

This how the truck looked upon pickup:

2024 Tacoma 10,000-mile update 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport 6MT. No Issues and going strong 20240412_124039

I had the dealer install the RC level kit, 265/70 BFG KO2's on factory 18's and some other goodies like bed mat, TRD air filter and all-weather floor liners before I picked it up.

Sticker price was $44.200. After all the mods added, sales tax, registration and warranty extension to 10 years/100,000 miles, I walked out with final price in the $52,000 range.

Once I broke in the clutch, shifting became smooth and routine. I have squawked the tires into second gear and third proving 4.30 gearing with turbo power is enough for me. Truck moves when I want to and placing into right gear before punching the throttle is all you need to know.

E-brake is annoying, but I now manually release it before moving. Wife helped me to turn off the lane assist garbage because I like to hit my apex. After that, smooth and routine to drive.

Completed 2 full oil changes. With the Victory skid plate, no issues at stealerships. Access port is for the oil filter and looking from front of skid plate, left rear square cut-out grants access to drain plug. Aside from residual oil from draining, no issues whatsoever.

Added additional mods to truck like seat covers from Costco to protect factory fabric. Debating whether to go with rear seat delete next year, but I proved I can place full-size spare

Speaking of spares, wondering how many actually have full-size spares? I grabbed some Tundra 18x9's that fit factory bolt pattern for a good deal and mounted 265/70's on for the spare. I removed the factory donut underneath because it is useless when you look at it.

Added the Victory engine cover because I do not want to be greeted with looking at the brains all of the time under the hood.

Added a Lomax hard cover to protect gear on trips and preventing snow in the bed.

That's about it for first year. Extremely happy with my purchase. It turns heads driving all of the time and some guys are looking into getting one because they like the look of the bronze oxide. They are blown away when I tell them it is a 6-speed manual with 4.30 gears, but oh well.

Radom pics of doing work and stuff as I park her for the winter and my Corolla with WS-90's take over, less heavy winter storm.

and I was already hauling loads.

Caught a TRD Sport long bed on stock tire size, big difference with level kit and 265/70's... plus look at that rake...

Oh that's better than my old 3G tacoma with heavier tires and tune!

Some days it is the 19 range and some in the 18 range depending on wind velocity and direction or how many losers are on the roads. Hehehehe...
