I know a lot has been posted but I came across the Bulletpoint solution. Anyone have experience with this and how it mounts or other recommendations?
Looking for a spot to mount my trailer camera monitor when needed.

I went with ICS Fab dash mount. Marketing on bullitpoint is pretty cringey and they are made in china.
I am looking at this one. I like it because it does not require any drilling, though it isn't cheap. I just need to figure out if the phone grip will hold a Samsung S23 in an Otterbox case.

This video shows instillation about 3/4 to the end, looks pretty easy.

Based on a few other posts of this and other products, I’m going to give Bulletpoint a try and see how it does. I also don’t like price to be a factor but $200 seems ridiculous for this type of product. We’ll see what I get. If I’m wrong, $200 might not be a bad deal. Fingers crossed.

I get your thinking. Please let us know how it goes and your thoughts once you're done.

Just my .02 but I've considered the Bulletpoint and I'm sure it's nice, but it's fundamentally different from most of the more expensive options. Rather than remove and replace the back plastic panel as most options do, the Bulletpoint mount just screws down on top of the plastic, which is why they say it fits both the 8" and 14" screen. I have no problem with that but started to question myself as to why I need the product at all. If I'm drilling holes to mount the Bulletpoint, why not just drill holes and mount the AMP mounts directly to the existing plastic? As long as you're not planning to reposition the mounts all the time the Bulletpoint just seems like a "nice to have" but doesn't really offer any benefit. Let us know how you like it once you get it. Change my mind!

does that even screw into anything or just sit there? doesn't seem like that would be stable. sometimes going for the cheapest option you can find will bite you down the road.

I was worried about how it attached as well so I emailed support and they immediately sent me the install document. It uses the same four bolt holes the others attach to. The holes drilled in the plastic are just passthroughs. So, very sturdy mount. I appreciate all the input. We will see as it is now ordered.

If you are talking about the one I posted it slides over the stereo. Not gonna say it's impossible for it to move but it would have to slide up over the stereo. Double sided tape could be used for extra security. I promise this would work for 80% of the people here who never go off the pavement.

I also went with the cheaper Amazon version. Works fine just need to get a cable that is not to long, there is just not much room under the tray to hide a charging cable.
