Hey there! I wanted to share some exciting updates on the 2024 TRD Offroad Tacoma tuning I recently had.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about tuning a new Tacoma to improve its performance. But guess what? Toyogenics, a company based in Edmonton, Alberta, blew me away! The owner, Michael Bombard, was super friendly and helpful, and the whole tuning process was done in just 30 minutes.

I’ve been driving the newly tuned truck for a week now, and I’m still amazed by the performance improvements. The transmission and throttle response are just incredible! It’s definitely the most transformative modification I’ve ever made to my 4th-generation Tacoma.

Toyogenics is the Alberta retailer for Overland Tailor Tuning (OTT) who has been working hard for many years to develop and refine their own hardware and software to provide their proprietary tuning enhancements. They’ve figured out a way to customize Toyota-specific engine performance specs that are usually out of reach for the average consumer. Michael even told me that he’s lost count of the number of customers in Canada and the States who were planning to sell their Tacoma’s before they had the tuning done. I have no doubt that’s true based on the huge difference in performance I’ve noticed.

Hey guys… as you know our transmissions have very lazy slippy torque converter lock ups, are you able to enhance these so that the Engine feels more connected to the wheels?

Any input with this? With tuning, is there any revision of clutch pressure and tc lockup?

Any input with this? With tuning, is there any revision of clutch pressure and tc lockup?
It can be done, yes, but we don't significantly change the lock-up/line pressure from OE in our standard Stage 1 files.
