How have you found your smart cap? I have had mine ~4weeks. And it leaks. One rain storm. One snow storm. Even just parked, and water in the bed (few cups worth).

That sucks Deadsetmonkey. Mine does not leak under normal circumstances. Only time I have seen water in it is when I get too gung-ho with the pressure washer along the bed gasket or at the back window OR during warm days and freezing nights when there is snow on the topper. It melts but ice dams a little right at the back window/tailgate interface and can drip back into the tailgate there.

I did however notice some rust along the bottom weld area by the side door. I reached out to RSI and they sent me a whole new side and a new bottom gasket. That’s great and all but means I have to take the thing off and redo all that. Shitty. More research taught me not all stainless steel is the same. This is a ferric blend for easier workability. It’s magnetic but also not all that corrosion resistant.
