Just going to try this before buying seats from salvage yard. I'm in southern Indiana and have a 25' TRD Pro with 1100 miles on it. I'd like to trade front seats with someone for non Pro cockpit red front seats. Even trade if you cone to my shop.

I think they are horribly uncomfortable. The side bolstering is too much. Maybe I'm just used to sitting with legs wide. My other trucks are Ford super duty or chevy 2500's and sitting with your legs straight our like your constantly using clutch, brake, accelerator is uncomfortable and unnecessary. You can't even get a manual trans. I think its a combination of that and seating position to race or run truck hard and keep your body in safest position as you would sit like that if fully engaged in running it hard. Seats and fuel economy have me ready to sell it with 1100 miles on dash honestly. I really really like it otherwise.

I'm 5'11 195lbs in shape so I'm not obese or a big person by any means

@BearTacos obviously hates these seats, but I love mine. The first thing most people comment on when they ride in my truck is how comfortable the seats are, with a special shout out for the bolsters. Different strokes for different folks.

The only downside that I can see is that they eat even more of the already limited rear seat leg room. This would be a chance for someone to get those seats and let @BearTacos get seats that would work better for him.

That's what I'm hoping for. I didnt realize that the cockpit red was a Pro only option. I guess that what happens when the only models that I searched for were Pro's lol. I may find a 4th gen at salvage yard that had the premium package and get them reupholstered then just sell these. All my research shows that they use sane mounting platform and wiring harness is same as a premium package truck or limited

Yeah - that would be typical for Toyota to use a universal mount for the seats.

I have never driven a Trailhunter, but from the pictures the seats look very similar but without the suspension. Trailhunter owners could give you more feedback on that.

Good luck.

Go to an auto upholster. They can pull the covers, reduce the size of the bolsters, and the resew the covers to the smaller size.
