Wanted to run larger tires with minimal amount of mileage or comfort hit, and utilizing stock wheels. After much searching, went with Nitto Terra Grappler G3's in 275/70/18 size, the overall circumference is really close to 285/70/17. I choose these because they were one of the few tires available that weighed under 50lbs, SL rated, 3 peak snowlfake rated. Most tires in this size weighed 60 lbs + and were E rated.
Also added Spidertrax 1" spacers, brings me to just about flush with the outside edge of the flares. Had a small amount of rub on the "Canadian" stock front mudlfaps which I have since removed.
Also visible in these pics is an aftermarket skid plate and my plasti-dipped front grill emblem and tow hooks.
