Is it safe to drill a hole in the corners of the bed? My driveway sits on a slight slope and the water sits in the front right corner. The main bolt is starting to rust so figured I could possibly reduce water sitting in that corner

Is there something I don’t want to hit just below? Do the existing holes just pass right down through the undercarriage or is there a channel or tube? Haven’t been able to get under there to find out and each time it’s raining and it reminds me, I’m less inclined to lay on the wet ground 😂.

Without crawling under and confirming there's not a wiring harness...

Absolutely fine
Yea after posting I decided to just go out and peek underneath. You’re right, nothing there. Not sure why the drain holes weren’t in the corners to begin with.

Also, wasn’t paying attention… was pulling the plastic debris from the whole both on top and underneath. Turns out there’s a fiberglass layer underneath when you drill through. Fiberglass in the hands. Idiot (me) tip: Wear gloves if you do the mod.
