BRAKE LINE RECALL

Why hasnt my tacoma 2025 off road been recalled ?
I just looked underneath and I could see that brake line so close to the rim ?
I called the dealership and gave them my VIN but said that there is no recalls on it .
Should I call corporate?

2025? You got 18" wheels? If you have the 17" wheels, you may already have the fix though.

There is a recall (I'm part of it) for any 17" wheels on the '24s, but the fix hasn't trickled down to any of the units that are already out in the wild.

My tires are 17 , but I still see the brake line so close to the rimm ?

They're still working their way towards a viable fix, it sounds like.

I spoke to a service manager when I first caught wind of the recall and was told there's nothing they can do until corporate outlines the proper fix. I guess they're trying to explore more economical options than full brake line replacement and hours of non-billable time in the garage. Really hope they get it together on this one before summer.
