I have about 13,000km on my truck, and recently I can smell a burning smell for about 30 seconds after 30min drives or so on the highway when I stop. I have found I can only smell it in the cabin. I can't seem to locate where the smell is coming from, and I would bring it in but I feel like I'll pay for them to look and they'll say they can't replicate it. To give backstory, I had it undercoated about a month and a half ago, it smelled for a bit after but started to go away. I also got new tires, same size just AT4's but it's not the break as far as I can tell because the rims are not hot after, I tried the touch test. Can anyone give advice on what is may be or where to look, I'm lost. As well, it's a manual.

I also experienced that burning smell in my manual trd sport. I was letting a friend drive it who was shit with the clutch. I chalked it up to him riding the clutch. I haven’t smelled it since

I know it's not the clutch because the clutch has a different smell if I ride it. The clutch on this this smells if you ride it for any amount of time haha

I have a similar problem. Started last December, but I ky after a minimum of 30 mins of driving. Once I slow down, the smell catches up to the truck. Toyota said the the h vac is all plastic, the glue takes 15,000 kms for it to go away. I'm almost at 15,000km, if I drive on the highway, it still burns/smells bad. I made my 3rd appointment and if not gone, I guess I will contact Toyota. I'm losing faith in Toyota
