I took the day off to finish some projects on the Taco and one thing I am installing is the Legend Mirror/Dashcam from Acumen. I installed the RSI SmartCap Defender with no windows. With the Legend I will be able to see behind me now while in motion. I was apprehensive about the installation until I watched a video on another camera installation and it shows some of The secrets to get from the cab thru the firewall and where to thread the wiring thru the head liner. Hope it helps you with your project.

When you go from the mirror to the headliner and use the cabin lighting control cutout and you need to traverse the front post then I recommend using the weather strip. The post has airbags and it will be difficult to traverse behind the airbags without damaging something. It’s possible to use that route but riskier. Also the in cabin fuse box is located in the passenger side below the glove box.
