You shouldn't need to buy one---- DK if they all come w/ card key, but your OR is a couple trim levels higher than mine and I got one. If the dealer didn't give it to you at time of purchase, they should order one for you at no additional cost.
I didn’t get one with my hybrid TRD OR. I do not have the premium package. My dealership screwed up many ways except with the price of the truck.

That looks identical (other than the logo) to my 11 year old Lexus lol. I don't use mine much because I don't expect it's as durable as the regular fob, but in the event you're wearing a suit or something, it's nice to have a low profile option to slip into your jacket pocket.
Yeah it isn’t durable, mine started wearing quickly and is now fairly scratched just from being in my pocket.

someone else shared on this forum a link to Amazon for a leather style sleeve for it which works great. Available from Amazon US and Canada

I put it in my wallet day one and haven’t touched it since. All I touch is the door handle and the start button. No key FOB in my pocket is great!
Same. I wasn't too sure of it at first, but yeah, it just sits in my wallet. No wear from going into and out of my pocket. I keep my keys on a belt loop carabiner and am much harder on regular fobs.
