It happens at all speeds and temperatures, but it's most noticable on high speed, recirculate, hot temp. When I switch from upper/lower vents to upper only, the amount of air coming out of the upper vents doesn't appear to change, but I get a loud noise coming from behind the glove box. Any thoughts? I'll bring it up with the dealer at my first service, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue? Thanks.

If you switch off recirculate, does the noise go away? I'm thinking it will.

I don't think you can get the upper & lower vents working with recirculate on... I wonder if that setting even works? Maybe it doesn't? Recirculate pulls the air in through the lowers and blows it through the uppers. Most cars on the recirculate cycle make a lot of noise under the dash.

TBH, I use Auto all the time. I never shut it off. It is the easiest way to keep the truck comfortable & you don't have to keep fiddling with the climate controls.
