Finally got a VIN

The build date was today and it popped on Toyota.com. I dare say it's the only red Limited Max in New England. Now the real wait begins.

My truck was built almost a month ago and the wait already seems like forever. But mine is in transit and it might get to me in 1-3 weeks. Your truck won't be far behind and you will still have time to get it ready for winter.

I also received my VIN for my TH that was built on Friday 8/23 so now I’m hoping that it doesn’t get impounded and sent to jail for a few months

The truck I have a deposit on says " Vehicle may be in transit. Estimated availability 08/28/24 - 08/28/24. "
I guess it should be here, maybe tomorrow? But the VIN doesn't seem like a valid one when i do a VIN lookup.

@hoodouken Yeah - mine is in may be in transit land too, although I still have a range of dates. I am starting to wonder if Toyota even really knows what is going on. My dealer has still not contacted me and this whole thing is starting to feel like vaporware at this point.
