Congrats! Does that truck have SDM? If so, it's exactly what I've been looking for. I can't find a 6speed with premium and SDM in any color, but terra would be my first choice. Awesome truck!!

Nope.. No SDM. I was so danged happy to find an Off Road w/ the Off Road Premium package and a 6MT, that I'm OK with it. I feel very, VERY lucky to have found this one. I LOVE IT.

Nice truck! I'm new to Toyota and it is beyond me why you can't order a Toyota how you want it, like Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Jeep, etc. etc. You have to take what they make or search around the country to find something close to what you want.

But I had to go a with solar octane 6MT and I waited 7.5 months for it.

100% this. It's so frustrating. I ordered a Bronco and got exactly what I wanted. With Toyota, it's a crap shoot and even if you get what you "want," chances are you're also paying for silly crap you don't want like door edge guards and $70 iphone cables.

Toyota has perfected the customer 3rd sales strategy.
I had never bought from a dealer before, so when I went in asking to get on a list for what was available on the configurator, they told me I wanted a unicorn and laughed. At one point in my search, I found an allocation the day it was posted on Toyota's website, and called the dealer asking if I could ADD options 6 weeks before it's scheduled to be built, and even that was a letdown.

While I didn't get exactly what I wanted, I found one used with 1,400 mi on it and got it for 20% under sticker, so in the end I'm less sour about how Toyota sells cars to market.

Yes: maybe in today's chaotic new world of tariffs and uncertainty Toyota will stop preventing MOTIVATED BUYERS from getting exactly what they want. I looked for 8 months before finding, only 4 hours away, a 6MT with what I wanted and "only" about $1000 of excess options. They hosed me for the USB connectors, paint and fabric snake oils in bottles and black tailpipe codpiece.

Have you guys ever toured a Toyota assembly plant? I toured Toyota Georgetown, Ky twice.

These highly efficient factories are not a simple Burger King. Just saying...

Note: I drove 6 hours to get the allocation I desired, well worth it in the end because the sales and dealer installed my level kit, new 265/70 KO2's, TRD air filter and some other goodies before I arrived to pick it up.
