Finish for Cali raised step sliders??

Wanting real world opinions on finish type for a set of sliders. I ordered the Cali Raised step edition sliders and back and forth between having it printed and then painted a deep gray by local paint shop, dark gray powder coat by Custom Coatings here locally or black Linex. For anyone that has had slidersxon a Taco id appreciate the advice. I usually just have Westin chrome or Aamp auto running boards the last 8 yrs or so on vehicles. This is not an offload rig. It I need the protection of a slider ill be thankfully but I don't plan on using a 70k truck to off road hard in. Mountain rds or woods for hunting trips, game retrieval etc but no hard wheeling.
