To make things worse, the hybrid models will have the same lame payload of 1215lbs as the gas models. I’m super depressed about that, as I had a camper all picked out for my Iforce Max TRD Pro which was estimated earlier at 1709lbs payload😞

I know I’m super late but when do these actually go on sale? Where can I find a dealer that’s selling at msrp?

Well… here’s what we know. I received a build date for my Trailhunter last week. It’s May 14. So they will be building them soon. I’m expecting a mid to late June delivery.

I put my deposit down back in August and was first in line for a hybrid.

I’ve read reports on here and other forums that said dealers are quoting 6 month-to-a-year waitlists for the halo models (TRD Pro and Trailhunter) but who knows, really.

I would call afl few dealerships and ask what number in line you’d be for one of these, then put a deposit down on the one that tells you the lower number. The one thing you have going for you is pricing hasn’t been announced. When it is, if it is as high as some folks expect it to be, some people will cancel their “order” and you’ll move up on the list.

The down side is, you will have to pay that high price. If you’re willing.

Are we thinking 60k? I have a 19 raptor and I’m possibly relocating to a state with gas prices at over $5 gallon so I’m looking for something more efficient. So if the price is a little high, I’d make that money back in a few months with fuel costs bc I think the hybrid models will get 25 mpg

From what I have read, I wouldn't expect more than 21mpg from the hybrid engine. Again, who knows.

On the price, I really don't know what to expect. If I were a betting man, I'd say the Pro and TH will be the same price: $60,960 before dealer/port-installed options and delivery.

How did I get this number?

I compared the increase in MSRP and invoice for a Limited from 2023 to 2024 MY. This was approximately a 25% increase, which is pretty insane. That got me the Pro to $60,515.

I then looked at the gross margin of approximately 7.94% on that truck, and figured Toyota would want a 10% increase in their margins this year, because everyone wants double-digit margin growth, don't you?

So, I took the 2023 Pro invoice, multiplied it by the 25% increase on the Limited, and by the 8.74% estimated margin.

$60,960 MRSP.

I'm not in the auto industry, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I think that sounds about right. I’m gunna start calling around and see if anyone will bite for msrp. Slightly concerned about rear facing car seat space though, however, my kid is 2.5 and pretty tall so it might be time to turn it around in a bit anyway

I would highly recommend driving the new Taco before trading the Raptor for it. There is no comparison between the two, they both have four wheels, that's where the similarity ends.

Thank you! I definitely will. Wish some hybrids were out. I’m also considering an R1T.
