They built me a one-of-a-kind front bumper skid plate bumper that I designed myself, 15 years ago.
How do you like using that rear tire carrier? I am looking at options that will move my spare from under my bed but I don't want to take up bed space as odd as that sounds - Is it a hassle to use and still access the bed?

I recently experienced a disappointing and frustrating situation with @CBI Offroad regarding their Super Stock Front Bumper for my TrailHunter. As a customer, I expect timely and professional communication, but unfortunately, CBI Offroad has fallen short in this regard.

On Friday, February 7th, CBI Offroad reached out to me via text regarding a purchase (1:54pst) I had already made for their Super Stock Front Bumper. I promptly responded, seeking confirmation of the fitment for my vehicle. However, to my dismay, my response was ignored, and I have yet to receive any further communication from them.

This lack of response is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to customers who have already invested in their products. As a result, I highly discourage anyone from doing business with CBI Offroad. Their poor customer service and lack of communication are clear indicators that they do not prioritize their customers.

In conclusion, I strongly recommend seeking alternative companies that value their customers and provide the quality service we deserve. Avoid the frustration and disappointment by steering clear of CBI Offroad.
Sorry to hear you're having problems with c. BI

Shipped to local trucking company dock, where I picked it up, including rear tire carrier bumper.

Wife and I installed in a few hours both of them.

Sorry to hear you're having problems with CBI, I, on the other hand have had nothing but a good experience with them. I've purchased their rock sliders and Prinsu roof rack along with top rack for my smart cap. They delivered within the lead time, and communicated with me on installation.
Again Sorry to hear you've had such a hard time, I know it's hard to find things for the trail hunter that fit. Good luck in the future.

Imagine you are the business owner and because you didnt respond over a weekend a customer posts how frustrated they are with your lack of response. That has the potential to negatively impact their bottom line and steer customers away from them on what is already a tough business environment. Its like going on social media and knocking you for something you know nothing about.

These threads live for ever (unless deleted) and most will see the title and not bother to read why, just register there is an issue with this vendor.

No I don't work for them. I have been in this sport a long time and have made freinds with many vendors and understand what a tight market it is. I do not know anyone from CBI. I did buy my sliders from them and they are a nice product.

Check this thread out. I share my experience so far with them in that thread but in a nutshell I sent a text well over a week ago now and have never had a response from that. I then called customer service, talked to a nice young lady who had no answers for me and who promised to talk to "engineering" and call me back. That was last Monday (one week ago) and I have heard nothing back from anyone.

I have the Super Stock Covert sitting in my garage ready for a remotely warm day so I can install it and I will say that it's very nicely fabricated. If everything lines up correctly, which I have no reason to suspect it won't, then I'll be happy with the product itself, but there is no denying that the customer service is lacking.

It worked out sweet until I saw the factory leafs. They were not smiling, they were negative arched.

Problem solved with a set of 500 lbs. leafs in the back. No issues sagging since.

The swing gate worked fine all the years I had it, no issues with full-size spare back there alomng with Hi-Lift jack.

UPDATE : I received confirmation this morning from CBI , according to engineers there are NO fitment issues with 24 TRD PRO, and Trailhunter models. Going to slap it on once this storm passes. I'll update with photos .

My purpose in sharing this information was to inform and benefit the community. It was never my intention to provoke negative reactions or attacks when presenting the evidence. I hope we can focus on the facts and have a constructive discussion.
There was no benefit, at all. But thanks for sharing your hissy fit.
