Hi everyone. I haven’t swapped wheels in 20 years. Limited Owners Who Changed your wheels from the factory chrome ones; How/where did you sell/get rid of the chrome takeofffs?

I sold mine on Facebook marketplace. Got a whopping $200 for them. It took 2 weeks to sell them. In other words nobody wants them.

I got lucky and sold them with the factory tires for $800 on Marketplace.

Chrome is like the plague these days—nobody wants it.

I've been brainstorming ways to deal with it, like using a vinyl wrap to break up the chrome or pulling the chrome cover off and having the base rim powder-coated.

But nothing will happen until spring at this point.
